Medina del Campo, in the heart of the Rueda Designation of Origin Wine Region —the first Designation of Origin to be granted in Castile and León (1980)— is the birthplace of fantastic grapevines that produce a white wine that supplied the Courts even during the times of the Catholic Kings, its fame traveling as far away as Flanders. The character of the wines that have the Rueda Designation of Origin is marked by the indigenous ‘Verdejo’ grape, the continental climate, and the gravelly soil.
Do not miss the chance to visit the Emina Winery, which belongs to the Matarromera Group, in a modern building that has the most cutting-edge winemaking technology. The winery is located on a plot of land that measures 100,000 m2, where both grapevines and olive trees grow.

Emina Rueda is the winery of Grupo Matarromera dedicated to the elaboration of white and sparkling wines. Located in Medina del Campo, a traditional wine area focused on the production of Verdejo wines, Emina Rueda is known for its commitment to technology and modernity.
During the guided visits, visitors will get to know the history and the tradiction of the wines of the Land of Medina del Campo.
